Eagle Ops is Emory's on-line career management system helping students connect with hiring organizations for a wide variety of employment opportunities.  The Career Center’s On Campus Interviewing (OCI) program is also managed through this site, as well as a calendar feature that includes the most current information on upcoming career related programs and events. Quick Reference Guide for Eagle Ops (pdf).

On-Campus Interviews (OCI) - Employers from a variety of industries including not-for-profit, government, and corporate sectors visit Emory each semester to interview students. Students register with The Career Center by creating a profile and uploading a resume via Eagle Ops. Once you are registered, you will be able to search Eagle Ops to find companies and organizations that will be interviewing students on campus. We will advertise the dates employers will be visiting campus via Eagle Ops along with the positions for which they are recruiting, and the dates for all events associated with the company. You may apply online for each position of interest, and check the status of your applications regularly.

Employer Networking Sessions - Many of the employers who visit campus to conduct interviews will also host Networking Sessions prior to their on-campus interview date. General interest topics are addressed in a group setting so that interviews can be more individually focused. You can expect most information sessions to run one to two hours in length. Presentations will address an employer's products or services, career opportunities, and business culture. A question and answer period typically follows. Refreshments and snacks are occasionally served. To attend these Networking Sessions, please RSVP via the Calendar feature of Eagle Ops, Proffesional attire is appropriate unless otherwise noted.

Career Fairs -The Career Center hosts two annual career fairs on campus, the Fall Career Fair and the Spring Career & Internship Fair.  Both events offer students the opportunity to interact with a variety of employers from a multitude of industries.  All majors are invited to attend and all class years are welcome.  Employers have fulltime and internship opportunities available to ALL MAJORS.  Business Attire is recommended for all career fair events.

The Career Center encourages students to participate in Career Internship Connections (CIC) Events.  The CIC Events take place each January in New York, Washington DC, Boston, Chicago and on the West Coast.  These career fairs offer employers the opportunity to interact with Emory students in their local market.  Students from high caliber schools have the opportunity to network with a multitude of local employers and interview on site.  Look for information about these events from the Career Center in the Fall.  Online registration is required prior to the event.  Please contact The Career Center with questions.

The Career Center partners with the Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers (GACE) in hosting the GACE College 2 Career Fair (C2C).  This event will be held on April 14, 2009 at the Cobb Galleria.  Employers that span the South East will be present with both fulltime and internship opportunities. For additional information call The Career Center or visit http://www.gace.org/careerfair/

Job Placement File: For those students wanting to establish a job placement file that will contain letters of reference, please complete the forms to establish a file with the Career Center.

Other Sites - The internet is full of mega job boards, niche sites, and corporate career pages that can be useful options to explore, identify, and apply to additional opportunities which may not be listed on Eagle Ops, however these internet sites can also feel like "a giant black hole in cyber space" as too often you’ll get little or no response.  The Career Center hosts a list of these sites on our intranet learnlink conference, however before you spend hours feeling productive by applying online, we’d like to meet with you to discuss your overall job search strategy.
