Jessie Barton Hometown: Birmingham, AL Senior, majoring in French Studies

1. What was your purpose for coming to The Career Center?

I had no idea what I wanted to do with my major and needed some guidance about what I should do after graduation.

What career-related advice does Jessie have have for students?

Use the career center and the resources provided to you because your fellow students are and you will be at a disadvantage if you do not. Also, make sure and attend the career fairs because they really do help. Even if you do not see a company there you would like to work for, the practice of dressing and conversing like a professional is useful.

1. What are your career/future plans?

I am going to be an associate at Triage Consulting Group in Atlanta.
