Connections with Emory students extend past graduation. Many of our alumni are actively involved with The Career Center by providing career development assistance to current students. In addition, The Career Center assists alumni who are interested in exploring career options or new directions.

Provide Internship Opportunities
Internships provide valuable career education, professional skill development, and much needed experience. In return, student interns bring to companies and other organizations innovative, creative and energetic assistance in meeting your organizational goals. Internship programs also allow employers to screen potential full-time hires. To learn more about hiring interns from Emory or if you need assistance in developing your internship program, please contact Don Cornwell at 404.727.6209.
Hire an Emory Graduate
Nothing is more rewarding to Emory students than securing their first professional position. Widely recognized as one of the most prestigious universities in the country, Emory offers graduates who bring the latest academic training and professional skills to your organization. Whatever type of position you have available, we have a degree program that will meet your needs, and The Career Center offers many different ways to find your perfect new hire. To learn more about hiring an Emory graduate, please contact Britney Fields at 404.727.0510.
Mock interviews are designed to prepare students for those all-important job and internship interviews. Interviewers assist in conducting interviews and providing constructive feedback to student interviewees. Please complete the online registration form or contact Tricia Herold at 404.712.9438 for more information.
Volunteer to be on a Career Panel
Career Services plans career panels throughout the academic year to educate students about a variety of potential career options. Topics have included: careers in writing, alternative health, green careers, non-profits and volunteering, sports industry, the music industry, politics, and many others. Students enjoy hearing about panelists' experiences first-hand. It is also a good opportunity for them to learn about the rewards and challenges of specific careers and how to get a foot in the door, and they also gain a potentially valuable contact in the industry. Please complete the online registration form or contact us at careercenter@emory.edu if you are interested in serving as a panel member.
Participate in an Informational Interview
Give students the opportunity to learn about particular companies and organizations and the various positions available within them. Students are encouraged to use these interview opportunities to talk to employers about future positions within the company/organization and to submit resumes for consideration. Please complete the online registration form or contact us at careercenter@emory.edu.
Job Shadowing: Job shadowing provides students with the opportunity to shadow a professional in a particular career field for a few hours and to learn about the professional's job role and organization. Please complete the online registration form or contact us at careercenter@emory.edu.
Volunteer to be a Professional Contact
Are you interested in assisting an Emory student with his/her career path decisions? If you register on our database, you may have the opportunity to help a student with an informational interview, a mentoring relationship, shadowing, speaking to a club or group, and/or sitting on a panel to talk about your experience (you choose). Please complete the online registration form or contact us at careercenter@emory.edu.
Would you like to sponsor an Emory career event? If you are interested, please complete the online registration form.
